Biography

Dr. Sana Naseem is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Economics) at the College of Business Administration (Quantitative Department). Prior to joining Al-Yamamah University, she was working as an Assistant Professor (Economics) at Saudi Electronic University at its Madinah Branch. She has passed the assessment exam in “Strategies for Teaching in a Blended Learning Environment” jointly organised by Franklin University (Columbus, Ohio, and USA) & Saudi Electronic University in Riyadh, 31st January 2014.

Dr.Sana earned her Ph.D. in Economics from Aligarh Muslim University, India and received her master degree and bachelor (Hons) in Economics from the same university.

Dr.Sana has around nine years’ teaching experience in both India and Saudi Arabia, teaching B.B.A and M.B.A. students. She possess dynamic research interests include: International Economics, Labor Economics (Female Labor Force), Economic Growth and Development, Macroeconomic policies. She is a keen researcher and has contributed research papers in refereed international journals and has authored one book. She writes an article for Bahrain Newspaper on “Demonetization in India: A Boon or Bane”.
