Biography

Dr. Naimatullah Shah is the professor of the College of Business at Al Yamamah University. He is the coordinator of management department. Before joining Al Yamamah University, Dr. Shah was a professor of human resource management at University of Sindh, Jamshoro. He served in key positions such as Member of Board of Governors, Far East and South East Asia Study Centre, University of Sindh; Member Senate, University of Sindh; Member Board of Faculty, Faculty of Social Science, University of Sindh.

He is qualified academician over 20 years of experience in teaching, research, supervising and administration within higher education institutes. He has PhD degree from QS ranking and AACSB accredited university such as Brunel University London. He also has hands on visiting research fellow experience of 05 years with British universities such as Brunel University and Bradford University and track record of successfully conducting research in management/human resources management/organizational behaviour domain. He actively contributes to the teaching, research, and project work to meet the requirements of an extensive academician.

He has proven ability of conducting research individually and in team which demonstrated by publishing many research papers in high quality journals and also presented many research papers in peer reviewed national/international conferences/symposiums. He has developed leadership skills for academic management and research projects management. He obtained two competitive grants in year 2016 and 2017 and successfully completed the projects within given time frame and budget. He also supervised and got completed 08 PhD and 06 MPhil research projects. He has been examiners of 3 doctoral thesis at Roskilde University, Denmark and Shah Abdul Latif University, Pakistan.

His research work has been previously published in many journals such as Journal of Business Research (JBR), Journal of Enterprise Information Management (JEIM), International Journal of Business Innovation and Research (IJBIR), International Strategic Management Review (ISMR), etc. His primary research interests include employee commitment to the organisation and career, employee readiness for change and social relationships in the workplace. His current research focuses on entrepreneurship, organisational justice, social exchanges, ethical behaviour and personality traits. He is goal orientated with strong work ethics and always ensure a high-quality service is provided to students. He enjoys bringing teaching experience and research to my classroom with honesty, enthusiasm, and pragmatism.
