Randa holds a BA in English Literature and an MA in English/Arabic Translation and Localization from the University of Aleppo/Syria. She also holds an M.Ed. and a PhD in TESOL from the University of Exeter/UK. Prior to joining INTERLINK International Institutes, Randa worked as an ESL instructor and a TOEFL trainer in Saudi schools and universities. Her philosophy of teaching centers on the idea that learning must be real, hands-on, relevant, and meaningful to students. Randa remains active in the field of ESL by attending and presenting at conferences and has been a member of TESOL for many years. She has written on professionalism, reflective practice, students’ evaluation of teaching and learning, academic writing and publishing and project-based learning. Her areas of specialization are: 21st century skills and improvement of both teacher competency and student academic success.
